1. Initial Data Collection to Define Your Needs
Your financial planner defines your financial needs and goals with a view to preparing the Planning Mandate.
2. Financial Planning Mandate
The planning mandate maps out the work of the planner. As set out in the mandate, and in keeping with our philosophy, certain specific aspects will be studied more thoroughly depending on the various components offered.
3. First Meeting
During this meeting, a financial planner undertakes a comprehensive data collection process in order to identify all the elements allowing him to understand and describe your overall situation as acurately as possible.
The planner will take this opportunity to clarify certain elements of the mandate in light of the information you have provided.
4. Data Analysis and Production of an Interim Report
Drawing on his or her expertise, knowledge and computer tools, the financial planner analyses the data, prepares relevant forecasts, outlines his preliminary observations and drafts the planning items to be included in the interim report. The financial planner is supported throughout by a team of specialists.
5. Second Meeting
To ensure the report’s contents are meet your expectations, the planner meets with you for a second time to present you the interim report before entering the final drafting stages. This is an opportunity to discuss specific strategies and clarify the various avenues to be explored in the report’s final.
6. Update of Analysis on the Basis of Commentary and Production of Final Report
Following the second meeting, the planner finalizes the report in light of the issues discussed during the second meeting.
7. Final Meeting
In the presence of your Private Manager, the planner presents you the final report, recommendations and action plan to achieve your goals.
It is up to you, with the support of your Desjardins Private Manager, to put this plan into action.
